The Hemper Bonsai Bong shapes a miniature tree in borosilicate glass — shallow pot at the base, trunk forming the neck, canopy above. It was Hemper's June 2024 theme and it's the quietest piece in the range, which is rather the point of it.
How it performs
The pot base is wide and low, which makes it stable, and the trunk gives a natural neck angle. Standard bowl and downstem. Like the lantern, this is one people buy specifically because it doesn't look like what it is — it sits on a shelf as an ornament until it's needed.
The XL scales the whole thing up, canopy included.
