Hemper Gummy Bear Bong

The Hemper Gummy Bear Bong is a gummy sweet in the shape of a bear, blown in coloured borosilicate glass — the rounded, slightly translucent look of the real thing, with the bear's body forming the water chamber and the neck rising from behind the head. It was Hemper's February 2024 theme, and it's one of the sweeter, more playful designs in their run.

It was produced once, as a limited monthly batch. February 2024 is the only date this design carries, and the stock we have is what's left of that run.

How it performs

The bear sits on its haunches with a broad base, so it's stable for its height. It takes a standard bowl and downstem and holds enough water to do the job properly — this is a pipe first and a sweet second. The chamber is one continuous shape with no internal steps, so the draw is smooth and it's easy to keep clear.

We have the regular size only. It's a compact piece — the sort that lives on a bedside table rather than a mantelpiece.

Looking after it
